Enduring connections.
Shared growth.

EONNUS connects swim brands worth knowing with the Korean market — and builds the kind of working relationship both sides can grow on.

About

This began in the water.

EONNUS grew out of a close understanding of what happens in the water. The more hours you put in, the clearer it becomes how much a single well-engineered piece of equipment changes the way you move and perform.

Korea’s sports and aquatics market keeps growing, yet many specialist brands recognised abroad for their engineering and their thinking have still never been formally introduced here. EONNUS was set up to close that gap — to establish those brands in Korea properly, through a channel that can be trusted.

We do not stop at importing. We respect what makes a brand its own, and we work as the local partner that grows it to fit this market. When we look at a brand, we ask one thing.

Do we genuinely believe in this brand’s philosophy —
and can we grow with it in Korea?

We intend to keep a brand’s character fully intact, and to be a partner worth having over the long run.

01

We start from promises we can keep

We are open about what is workable and what still needs negotiating. Honest execution, rather than inflated targets, is what makes a partnership last.

02

Precision is what makes distribution steady

Material specifications, safety test reports, mandatory Korean labelling, customs paperwork — all checked closely. Thorough verification up front is what keeps regulatory risk out of the supply chain.

03

We keep communication open and close

We share progress on a regular schedule, and when a shipment slips or the market shifts, we say so straight away and bring options. A line you can rely on, whenever you need it.

The partnership we want

Rather than adding brands quickly, we concentrate on helping one brand take root properly in Korea. What we want is a relationship where, years from now, we are still talking about growth with the partner we started with.

Founder’s Note
Minjung Kim, founder of EONNUS

Swimming started as a way to get my health back. It has become the steadiest part of my life.

Being in the water every week, I came to feel first-hand how much one good piece of equipment changes the experience. Small differences in detail are what create focus, and a product with a brand’s thinking behind it makes a swimmer’s time worth more.

There are products abroad built on exactly that kind of thinking that have never reached the Korean market. EONNUS exists to recognise that value in full, and to introduce it here properly.

What I promise a partner is simple.

I will talk straight and not inflate what is actually there. And once we have taken a brand on, I will stay with it until it has taken root in Korea.

Why Us

A narrow category, understood properly.

Instead of spreading across categories, we stay inside swim.
That is where the useful knowledge lives — season cycles, sizing behaviour, and how materials hold up in chlorinated water.

01

Swim only — and we swim

Swimwear, caps, goggles, fins, towels, buoyancy aids — nothing else. Our founder swims several times a week, so products get used in a pool before we form a view on them.

02

Channel range

We work across department store floors, swim specialty shops and online platforms — so we can say which product belongs on which shelf, from experience rather than guesswork.

03

Korean compliance

Safety testing routes, Korean labelling and customs paperwork are handled on our side, so a brand does not have to learn the Korean system to enter it.

04

Built for reorders

We judge a launch by whether it reorders, not by the size of the first shipment — so we start at a volume that can actually turn, then build.

Services

From first contact to shelf.

The work between an overseas brand and a Korean shelf, handled step by step. Brands can also engage us for only the part they need.

01

Brand Sourcing

Finding overseas swim brands, checking them against real Korean demand, and making the first approach.

02

Import & Customs

HS classification, import declaration, duties and VAT, and certificate-of-origin handling.

03

Domestic Distribution

Inbound, storage, per-channel fulfilment and stock control — run to each channel’s own ordering and settlement rules.

04

Market Entry

Deciding price positioning, which SKUs to lead with, and which channel to enter first — designed per brand.

05

Marketing

Product detail pages, channel-specific imagery, and product copy written for Korean buyers.

06

Brand Development

Turning each season’s sell-through into the next order — what to repeat, what to drop, what to add.

Process

From first email to reorder.

Timelines vary with the item and the certification route it falls under. We give an estimate at the review stage, before anything is committed.

01

Enquiry & sample review

We take in the product list, specifications and samples. Before any talk of volume, we look at the ingredient declarations and the packaging.

02

Import feasibility

We establish how the product classifies in Korea and whether it can come in. The answer comes back as one of three — yes, yes with conditions, or no — and if there are conditions we say what they are.

03

Terms & contract

Range, pricing, delivery terms and the scope of the work are agreed before any regulatory filing begins.

04

Regulatory plan & filing

This is where the whole picture goes in writing — the filings and tests required, the documents we need from the brand, and how long each step takes. Once that is settled, we file.

05

Import, customs & quarantine

The first order goes in. We handle shipping documents, the import declaration and customs clearance, and run animal quarantine in parallel for items containing animal-derived materials.

06

Korean labelling & intake

Korean labels are applied, lot numbers and expiry dates recorded, and the received quantity checked against the shipping manifest.

07

Channel placement & reporting

We go live in the agreed channels and report regularly on sales trend, returns, and whatever keeps coming up in customer reviews.

Compliance

The Korean paperwork, handled on our side.

Swim products fall under different Korean statutes depending on what they are. Below is the ground we cover; which items actually apply depends on how each product classifies.

01

Classification & HS code

Swimwear, caps, goggles, fins, towels and buoyancy aids each classify differently, and the required route follows from that. This is the first thing we settle.

02

Safety certification (KC)

Textile and consumer items can fall under the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act. We determine whether they do, and arrange testing through an accredited body where required.

03

Children’s products

Items intended for children under 13 fall under the Special Act on the Safety of Children’s Products. Kids’ swimwear and buoyancy aids are reviewed separately on that basis.

04

Buoyancy aids & water-leisure items

Life vests and buoyancy aids can attract additional requirements depending on intended use. We confirm the applicable scope before shipment.

05

Korean labelling

Importer name, address and phone, country of origin, fibre composition, size and care instructions — in Korean, applied before goods reach a channel.

06

Customs & FTA origin

Import declaration, duty and VAT, and certificate-of-origin handling — including whether an FTA preferential rate can be claimed.

The above describes the scope of work we handle. It does not represent certifications held. The statutes and procedures that actually apply are determined by product classification and by the relevant authorities.
